"The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. "Really nice hotel; very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice: it had a separate bath and shower. Made full use of the pool (small and oddly shaped, but sufficient for a dip), sauna (which was nice and hot) and gym (small, but top quality technogym equipment and more than enough to get a good workout. Breakfast was also good. Can’t really fault it, other than two single beds pushed together to make a double bed, but they easily slid apart."

"Liked it quite a bit. Clean room, friendly staff, easy access, good breakfast. If you're not familiar with Edinburgh, just know the front door of the hotel opens onto one of the busiest streets in the city. It's walkable to most everything. If you like busy, this is your place. If you like a slower pace that's off-the-beaten-path, look elsewhere. (Adding-- the room was quiet! No issue there.)"
