"Best location. Smack bang in the middle of old town. Lovely staff. Great service all around. Clean bathrooms and toilets. Showers working perfectly. They have free activities at the reception, great way to meet people. Spacious and comfortable pods. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at."

"The rooms was comfortable and had a gorgeous view of the castle. A top floor room also means privacy from the busy street below (which can be quite lively at night!). The gym facilities are excellent and accessible. The staff were generally friendly but occasionally aloof. The lack of air conditioning meant a very warm room most of our stay in June, so a fan (provided in-room) is necessary. The open window somehow did not cool down the room at all at night, so sometimes it was hot in the room but lovely outside. Location is incredibly convenient and walkable (under 15 mins) to Waverly Station. "

We were attending the Royal Highland Show and the location couldn’t have been more convenient – just perfect for easy access to both the showgrounds and the city. "We liked the staff very friendly and helpful. Shame no tea and coffee in the room. Parking was a pain, we hadn't realised it was on a lower level not directly accessible to the hotel. Be aware read the info sent. Great breakfast, good selection "
