"My husband and I loved our stay at Uddastri Retreat. We were greeted by the hosts on arrival and given a tour of the place. Our room was stunning with incredible detail on the decor. The breakfast was great and the pool area was amazing! Overall I do not have a bad thing to say about this place. Location is easy enough to get to and you can be in Oblia within 20 mins! Would definately recommend this place! "

"The property is really beautiful and well designed. We signed up for their tasting menu on two occasions and were a little disappointed in the food. The dinning area is stunning but you can’t choose what you want to eat so unfortunately we didn’t really love what was offered. Knowing the menu ahead of time or the ability to choose from a few options would have been much appreciated. We were never told the price of the prefix menus either and were a little shocked upon checkout. Just a heads up"

I thought that it was 4 minutes to the main town but appeared to be much further Without a car, I don t know how we ll get around when we get back. "Cavallo is an idyllic and beautiful island. Unfortunately the hotel is no longer run in a first class way and I could not in good conscience recommend staying here (especially at these prices). For example, there is a ferry that takes you to the island. We called the hotel bc we were 3 mins late (after a 17 hour flight from California that wasn't so bad). The hotel assured us they would contact the ferry and make sure they would wait those three minutes. The ferry said no one ever contacted...

The reson for a low score is the uncomfortable bed and the low pressure shower that felt like someone was sprinkling water on me. The service was outstanding as well. "Fantastic hotel, wonderful welcome with a glass of Prosecco, we were taken to our room which was perfectly appointed, beautiful outside furniture, lovely pool but a bit chilly! Breakfast was served morning in the main restaurant, every thing you could want. Lunch was great and the dinner in the main restaurant was fantastic. We will definitely be back, so relaxing! "
