A Fantastic, Relaxing Spring Break

Tips If you book “Ocean Front” without upgrading to Club Premium, you will get one of the best rooms in one of the buildings that are about 50 yards back from the beach. The only better rooms are “Ocean Front Club Premium”, where you’ll get the same room, but in one of the buildings that is closer to the beach. Book your dinner reservations right when you get there. We did so through our Club Premium concierge, and had no problem getting a good reservation for each night. Most restaurants open at 6:00, but in reality, it was closer to 6:10. Island time. There is a train that runs you back and forth from the Palace. Often, if you don’t want to wait for the train, just ask someone to give you a ride on the golf cart. Tip them a few bucks, and you’ve received a quicker, more enjoyable ride. We did this several times on our way to dinner, and then usually walked back. Bring larger cups that keep your drinks cold. This was a great tip that we read before leaving. The bartenders were happy to fill the larger cups, and we were able to make fewer trips back and forth from the beach. Men must wear long pants and close toed shoes at the restaurants. Don’t forget to bring them. Ladies, think about bringing something to cover your shoulders once the sun goes down and it gets cooler. We brought $150 in ones for tips, and probably used about $100 of them. Tipping is not necessary, but we felt it was well-deserved for the service that we received. More below..

Constant issues in room

Water leak in bathroom Broken remote control Missing towels Only 1 beer type offer House wine was terrible Food was served and not once were we ask how are meal was after they served it Half of staff did not speak English

Nice hotel very close to beach

A friend and I stayed for 5 days and the hotel made every second count. Guest services was wonderful and helped plan our week. Pool was very nice and close to everything. Chairs are limited so we did feel a rush to grab one. Beach was also right outside our room which was super nice. Adults only experience was great and relaxing (no kids or access noise). Buffet was nice but hard to accomadate allergies. Make your reservations early for restaurants!! Rooms were nicely kept and cleaned to great standard. Lastly, don't expect free wifi. We paid for daily service on two devices and it was quite pricey! Overall, a wonderful experience. We would recommend and/or return for another visit.

Nice hotel, service was questionable.

Hotel was great we had some service issues, in some of the restaurants and our room. We tipped very well the first day to ensured great service the rest of the week. We had to ask for towels, water, beer every day, shouldn't have to do that😳

great vacation

Pros: A lot of covered areas to sit and drink. clean
Cons: update rooms
Location: great location 10 minutes from airport
the resort was very open and a lot of things to do and entertainment was every night. Wait staff very friendly. Beach clean and never had to worry about getting a chair. Rooms on Adult side need UPDATING that would make them a 5 star resort.

Nice resort close to the beach bad customer servic

When my wife and I first checked in the desk agent handed us a key card told us our room number we asked where is the room his response was to the left down the hallway two buildings over Nothing was explained to us what was included we had to ask about everything no one really could give a correct answer example at the end of our stay we found out about snorkeling we didn't know That was part of the package we payed for a spa cruise that they canceled due to the weather conditions they never notified us we had to go to customer services and ask for a refund by the end of the stay we realized it was not all enclusive two of the restraints you have to pay for the hot tub $25.00 a day, have to pay for wifi what I call personal touch did not exist mainly due to how the resort managed i.e. Last year we stayed at a different resort not adults only we gave them 5 stars at the buffet restaurants their is one head server per section and he or she had several bus boys that he or she was in charge of our first visit to the restaurant we tipped the server the second visit and their after she put down a nice table cloth on the table with a rose for my wife by the time we got back to the table after getting our food from the buffet she had our glasses filled with what we were drinking when we sat down at the table she helped push in the chair in for us now that's a personal touch

Punta Cana 2017

Pros: Pool, people, beach....what's not to like!
Cons: Maid service, too few towels and amenities.
Beautiful Location, beautiful beach wonderful staff. Met many great people that we will continue to stay in touch, possible reconnect next year.

Ac didn't work, food was ok, beach was dirty with straws and cigarettes, barley drink service on beach.

First experience with an all inclusive resort. Location was great. Bring extra beach towels because they will only give you one at a time. Food was okay. Buffet was better than most restaurants. Staff was very friendly.
