"The staff was excellent, but unfortunately the room was disappointing. The bed was comfy but the comforter was dirty (stained) the bathroom didn’t look clean, the soap dispensers were broken. We did get 2 bar soaps from the front desk. The towels had hair on them and there was hair all over the bathroom. On the plus side the food at the restaurant was VERY good! I got the Chichen first on the list. Been before and was better. Room cleanup missed and called at 6 p.m. and they sent someone to service and much appreciated. Missed my room snack two days. Still won't keep us from coming back. "

"What an amazing property Coqui del Mar is. Hotel is overall well kept. We stayed at their biggest room, Orange Room, which has a HUGE kitchen, living room, and cute little bathroom. The property is generally well kept, although some areas started to show its age and could use refreshing, i.e. shower in the bathroom, appliances in the kitchen, plants around properties that are not well trimmed, outdoor furniture and turf around hot tub that started to show its age.
