"Enjoyed our stay at Swallows Cottage. So much character and lovely sunny garden. Only suggestions would be to have a bigger duvet on the double bed, particularly for the tall guests, and also more comfortable garden furniture. Otherwise, had everything we needed. Great location for exploring the Dorset attractions."

"Lovely clean, very well equipped cottage with a delightful garden. All our needs were catered for. The cottage is in a fabulous setting. Ideal location for walking our dog and a wonderful pub providing exceptional food within a few minutes stroll. Splendid National Trust property almost on the doorstep. "Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place."
