9/10 Wonderful! (1,990 reviews)
The RIU London The Westminster is in a very good location for touring London. The hotel is well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast offers a good assortment of fruits, pastries, eggs, cold cuts, and coffee. The housekeeping staff was generally good, but I didn’t quite understand why they didn’t remove the empty beer bottles the following day or replaced the used coffee mugs with fresh ones the following. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did stand out compared to the otherwise strong service. Perhaps I needed to set the items out side the door. Extremely happy with ability to refill water bottles at a water dispenser located in the hallway. This is an excellent idea. All staff interactions were excellent!

We stayed one night due to Heathrow Airport issues. The staff at night was wonderful and helpful. Morning staff was less so. No lift. Narrow and steep steps, which we anticipated as it is an older hotel. We chose 4th floor as they said it was less noisy. The train noise is prevalent. Very prevalent even on floor 4. No ac and windows only opened a small bit. They did provide a fan which helped. Small room which again we knew about. Nice however small bathroom. Across from a cute park. We needed a place to stay, it was reasonably priced and clean. Would have liked to visit that area, Paddington, but again, we were in and out.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Edward hotel. The staff was really helpful when we needed help when it came to the AC not working well in the room they provided us with a fan. Our room was always clean. The beds are comfortable. It was a really good location. If you’re looking for a cheaper, but good quality stay in London for a few days. I would recommend this hotel.
