"We didn't use the Spa or have any meals there so we can't comment on that. But the welcome at check-in was great and the room was excellent. We did have a drink in the bar where the service was excellent and very friendly. Overall we had a lovely stay."

"I had a nice stay but we felt the property carpets were outdated and felt unclean and we tried to use the spa and there was no loungers and have to sit at the side of the pool, we had booked a “spa weekend” but due to lack of loungers and then being busy everytime we came down to the spa we ended up going into the local city which was not really our plan as we wanted a chilled weekend "

"The staff there was really lovely The room we stayed in was not really kept well and the upkeep was a bit poor and it was not the cleanest. The breakfast was nice it was a breakfast buffet next door. The gym was small but decent for a workout The pool sauna and jacuzzi was amazing, steam room wasn’t working when I went though or was not set up "

"Food for dinner was fantastic. As a vegetarian there was a lot of choices and really delicious. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with any requests. "

"The bed I had was harder than I’m used to so that was a bit of a let down. As for breakfast it was help yourself. Fine for things like cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and toast, but not for cooked food. That should be cooked to order not put out and kept warm for an hour or two. The eggs were really tough."

"The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle under the spout to fill it. It is what it is for the price "
