"Absolutely beautiful property with beautiful areas to sit and enjoy the view of the ocean and banana plantation in one direction and the mountains in the other direction . Property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Be sure to contact hotel before you check in so they can open the gate for you. The buffet breakfast was superb with so much variety of fresh fruit and breads. A beuatiful spot to stay. "

"The hotel is extremely pleasant. Very colonial and comfortable. Nice and warm room. Our only problem was that we had a downstairs room and they all had lights over the door which stayed on all night. I tried to wedge the blind at the edges but it still let in a lot of light. The fridge was extremely noisy and we turned it off at night. The hairdryer only blew cold. The breakfast was just ok. 3 nights was too many for the town as there's not very much to do in the day. You can walk round the entire village in 1 hour. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Isla Baja Suites. Laura, the owner, was incredibly warm and helpful, and the service throughout was excellent. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and had beautiful views. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Garachico, with lovely cafés, scenic walks, and the amazing "El Caletón" steps away. A fantastic place for families and love birds. Highly recommended."
