"Our 2nd visit to the Viking. Love the location, with our sea view room perfect. The food was excellent and the staff were so so nice. Great cabaret on Saturday night. One downside (?) (in our modern age) was the lack of plug sockets or USB ports in the rooms for charging phones etc."

"We had a fabulous weekend, the room was spacious, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel was utterly amazing, hot food absolutely delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. There's a few marks and scuffs around the place but for what you pay it's incredible value for money. We will absolutely be returning! Only negative for me was there was only a bath, not ideal for washing your hair. A quick trip to Sainsbury for a jug solved that problem."

"Nice hotel, easy check-in and easy access to the beaches and other attraction areas with bus and tram, which the kids love, and a good environment to stay for a large family. "Internet was spotty, rooms look brand new but small, very clean, daily cleaning, not happy about having to pay £10 per dsy for parking at the hotel the cost should be in with the price of your stay and apparently because i booked through holiday. Com or any other 3rd party hotel charges £50 per night upto a maximum of £150, for damages which is ring fenced and returned when you leave, i don't know how many days it takes to appear back in my account, which actually put a damper on my break as i was relying on that money. Booking through booking. Com wasn't the problem but i never saw anything when booking regarding car parking charges or damage charges. "

"The hotel was very grand. Nice and comfortable furniture. Having to pay for a meal in the evening was a bit expensive and the same menu each night. The beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast and evening meal were very nice and weren't too filling which is good."
