Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation.

WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. With the warmest of greetings I was shown to my room. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. This is the first time I have slept all night in a hotel or B&B for many years. Breakfast was delicious and gave me a tremendous start to my day. Thank you so very much.

Nice couple. Very welcoming and good breakfast. Would have preferred fresh holondaise sauce on the eggs benedict, but that's being very picky. Everything else was perfect. Thanks.

Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens.

I stayed here 2 nights as I was booking night by night as my husband was in hospital nearby, The room had everything I needed, far more than I expected in a small country inn. Food was delicious and varied. Service was excellent and friendly.

It was a first time stay in this beautiful hotel and we loved it, such friendly staff, room beautiful and breakfast delicious, definitely be back, ps so many pictures of my Great Grandfather Fred Archer to see as well so lovely bonus x

A little gem! Hospitable, great food, well stocked bar, comfortable bed and a good shower. Parking a little sketchy if you're arriving after dark, but a good welcome, clear instructions and helped up the stairs to my room. Dog welcome too (no charge). Simon the landlord is the proper English gentleman, the pub is a well-established proper English pub, and I'd thoroughly recommend a stay here for a reasonably (sensibly) priced base if you're visiting this part of the world on holiday or on...

Stayed for just one night but really liked this property even though it was maybe a little expensive for just a 'room only' stay. Beautiful location in the private grounds of an old rectory surrounded by well kept gardens. Parking was in the grounds nearby and felt very secure. The check-in and arrival instructions were excellent, wi-fi connection was good and the room was clean with complimentary toiletries and coffee/tea. This is the 2nd time I visited The regent in the last 2 months. Amazingly kind staff who went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. They were very proactive and thoughtful! The property is recently refurbished and very clean. It also offers great view to the adjacent Parker’s piece park. Breakfast is light and simple but more than enough to fuel one’s day. The regent will most likely be our no. 1 Preference for accommodation in Cambridge going forward.
