"Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast. Staff very helpful at Reception and in restaurant. Gym equipment needs updating and showers in swimming pool out of action."

"We had a wonderful experience for our honeymoon and birthday. The hotel was clean and all the staff were very welcoming and kind. We got complimentary drinks and chocolates to celebrate, which was the perfect touch. The room service was quick and everything was delicious. The noise level was not bad either. Only really heard people outside on the weekend when the bars were more busy which makes sense. Even then, it still was quite considering Edinburgh is a bustling city and the sun didn't go down until 8/9pm. Would stay again! Also, the location is perfect to walk to just about anywhere you'd want to go."
