"We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, out room was clean, tidy & comfortable, the bathroom was of an adequate size although the shower/bath tap was lacking in pressure. Breakfast was good with choices of cereals, teas/coffees, yoghurt, bread for toast was fresh as were the croissants. The hot breakfast bap with egg, bacon & sausage was very good. During our stay the 5 members of staff (Lisa, Helen, Dianne, Gemma & Dorothy) we came into contact with couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful. You have to pay for car parking (£5.00 per 24 hrs). The only downside, if any, it is on the edge of a small retail park and apart from a Costa & Greggs there is nowhere within walking distance to eat."

"The restaurant was fine, staff were friendly and helpful, food was satisfactory. Man on reception when I checked in was very friendly. My room on the other hand was not at all like the pictures. It was in need of a good refresh. The bedroom was ok for the one night that I was staying there. But, the bathroom was really shabby. Stained toilet, sink and bath, really grubby looking. I didn't notice the bath and shower until I went to use it the next morning. It was dirty, dust all around the sides, hair in the bottom of the bath and on the shower head, clearly not been cleaned. This was reported to the reception but was too late to do anything about it as I was checking out."

"The Margaret Suite (room 8) double room was really good. Four poster bed and a fridge in the room. It’s the first floor bay window at the front of the building so you can see the sea. Apart from arrival, I didn’t see staff again. The room was clean and the room was quiet. The Expedia booking confirmation from the hotel starts with “Unfortunately…” and goes on about what you can and can’t do and their right to change the price. It’s not very welcoming so I’d recommend changing that. "

"Lovely hotel, rooms spacious and clean with the usual toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Great breskfast. We had a room with a balcony, overlooking the sea, what a fab view even in March! There is a club next door but that wasn't a problem as we did not have the door open and it shuts at midnight. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from that side. Would definitely book again!"

"First time staying on business, asked for a fifty pound deposit in case I cause damage to the room ? I travel throughout the UK never been asked before for a deposit for the room. Went to the downstairs pub for a drink and some food, told the barman I was a resident and could I open a tab, barman refused saying I might run off without paying? Food awful left the meal and will not be returning."
