"Convenient location in the dock area of Liverpool; its slightly decentralized loaction makes for a quieter environment, yet you get into the centre of town in 5 minutes.
Parking can be difficult as the hotel seems extremely busy every night (we were there Saturday and Sunday night); there is an overflow (public) car park up the road.
Check-in was made unpleasantly and unnecessarily difficult by the fact the person who booked the room (myself) has to be the one checking in; my wife was forced to wait almost half an hour while I sorted out parking and walked across (I have mobility issues, hence the long wait). Once I got there, all they wanted was to see me physically and not check any documents, so I fail to see the logic in just inconveniencing the guests.
Having said that, the room itself was nice and spacious (it could do with some more lighting), as was the modern bathroom.
The breakfast buffet is worth paying for as there is a lot of choice, as well as freshly cooked eggs.
Definitely worth a visit and we will probably stay there again for a future visit to Liverpool, but next time I’ll get my wife to sort out the parking and the luggage…"
