"Hotel was perfectly located for the centre of Liverpool and to take part in the excursions, hotel was clean, staff were good, only complaint was that its opposite a club/pub that played music into the early hours and there was often either the window alarms or car alarms going off, good value for money"

"Aging gracefully this once very posh hotel is no where near like it was in its heyday, however it is very conveniently located for Lime Street Starion, the docks and museums. Well worth a visit."

"Night concierge was really helpful, had us checked in and in room within 5 mins, room smelt clean and fresh on arrival. Not sure if we were put in a disabled access room because the bathroom was a bit clinical like a hospital bathroom but was very clean. No TV in room or extra amenities (kettle) whitch i never checked on booking but there was a hairdryer. The only reason for the 4 stars was, we dropped husbands bank card and had to move the bed over to get it. There was a thick layer of dust and rubbish from previous guests. Beds where comfy would book again"
