Only stayed for 1 night but staff were great. Lovely lady on reception who I think was called Katryna, extremely helpful particularly as we didn't know the area well! Thanks!

A grand hotel in its day, we had an agreeable stay. Only issue was the the shower head, the large flat square type.impossible to use effectivly. This comment would also apply to all othe locations with this type of shower. The designer had obviouly never used his own design. The bath was slippy when wet with no secure handholds

Pleasant. Bathromm could have been a bir cleaner. Breakfast staff was fantastic along with good fols at reception.

Excellent customer service and were able to sort an early check in for us before a wedding. Room had everything we needed and bathroom was gorgeous.

I was only there one night, and used no facilities. Booking in Lady was very polite

My fiance and I visited Exeter for a nice romantic weekend and found the location and staff to both be excellent. The room was extremely comfortable, clean, very well appointed and all the facilities were top notch. The check-in and check-out process was great, even if the lobby is pretty small / cramped, and the staff were very helpful indeed throughout our stay. While there are (inevitably) some idiosyncracies with a property of this age and history - the stairs / elevator, lack of parking and cramped corridors for example - these have to be expected and the views and location more than make up for these in our opinion. Would we go back? ABSOLUTELY!!! We had a wonderful stay.

Good. Shame about payment upfront on arrival as was supprise for wife's birthday with no clue of how much it was. This restricted her willingness to spend on shopping in the City.
