Everything was perfect, from the room to the food!

A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!

Our week stay at Collaven Manor was delightful, rooms very clean and welcoming, Our breakfasts were delicious and served by a very friendly member of staff. Highly recommended

I booked a room for a Monday and Tuesday night as a treat for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. I wanted somewhere special and the Hotel delivered it for me. We were met on arrival and our car parked for us. The bags were taken to the room. The room was on the top floor overlooking the valley. The views of the English countryside were fabulous. A really good value B&B for the area. About 20 mins from Oakhampton in a tiny village. 2 good walks (4 and 8km for hikers), and excellent beer, wines and food in the evening. Breakfast was top class. Will come again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Breakfasts lovely [ my favourite is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon ] Suppers also delicious. Good menu selection with Sea Bass & Rump Steak being my choices ( on 2 different occasions - - I should add.! ). Dog friendly - which is important if you want to have your pooches with you which we did. Allocated a downstairs room which is delightful with excellent shower & loo facilities. Would we want to stay here again. You bet !! PRB

We had a lovely meal when we arrived (not included) then friendly staff showed us to our room, king size bed en-suite, the bed was very comfortable & a powerful shower.

Small, clean, comfortable, with helpful friendly staff

Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!

This property is in an idyllic location and you can walk on Dartmoor straight from the garden. The staff were the best bit, all really friendly and efficient. Extra Dog treats, bowl and ball were added extra touches that made the stay even more special.
