"The property looked like a victorian massive elegant house it was lovely had everything there you needed, beds were big and very clean had a good night's sleep, breakfast was plentiful and a good choice continental, cereals juices full English, or various others like egg or beans on toast sausage / bacon sandwich plus tea and coffee. Had a lovely sea view of Exmouth also had a bar couldnt fault anything ,would definitely recommend 5 stars. Staff were very friendly."

"Nice clean and modern room, quiet and peaceful night of sleep with comfy bed, bathroom a bit outdated but was perfectly fine. Only things I would say were a bit annoying were breakfast being so busy (appreciate we did stay on a saturday and sunday night in the summer holidays) and the hair dryer wasn’t working in the room. Paying for parking was bit much but expected due to location. Staff were very friendly and helpful particularly as we had a late arrival! Also great to be next to Miller and Carter."

"The shower tray looked a bit grubby and the room was hot! But the hotel and staff were good. Close to Haytor rocks and nice outside areas"

"The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms spacious and clean, quiet and comfortable. The driving range was convenient, staffed by helpful and funny people. padel was also very quick to get to. It was easy going and relaxed. OK, the weather was great and that’s the icing on the cake."

"Probably the nicest room I have stayed in! What a lovely hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly and it must be the best location in Exeter. Breakfast was great and I loved having drinks at the fantastic rooftop terrace bar!"

"Leisure centre good, staff very helpful and great text service. Table in room was sticky on arrival amd room was dusty. But service throughout excellent. Slightly date but massive and great tariff. Would def recommned- only small downside is one shared bathroom."
