Really good customer care from the hotel staff. Check in was quick, room was clean and tidy. Didn't have breakfast, therefore can't comment. Overall a pain free and lovely hotel to stay st.
We had a family room. Pullout sofa was in not too good a shape and could have used a new mattress. Bathroom was nicely updated. Carpet could be updated. Walls were thin . Sounded like the people in the adjacent room were in our room talking. Easy walk to the castle.
Lovely hotel, great breakfast options, clean room, bed was a bit uncomfy! Only real downfall was that it was stated that all fees and charges were included but the hotel tried to charge an extra £13 for the carpark!
nice hotel almost adjacent to the castle , good quiet location , smart hotel , I had the basic room which was a bit small but ok , clean and tidy , and a very short walk to the market place / centre .
Beautiful and comfortable set in peaceful charming grounds. Unfortunately some basic maintenance required in some areas.
Full of character and quirkiness this is a very unique B&B and a million miles away from a run of the mill hotel chain. The room was lovely and well equipped, the breakfast was delicious. Some of the decor in the house was quite unusual and may not be to everyones tastes but its a well loved house ...
