Right from check-in i realised we had definitely picked the right place . We received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our room . Would highly recommend staying at the Gonalston Boutique. Not only was the room beautiful and clean, and the breakfast delicious, but the owner was the most wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and was lovely to chat with. My only disappointment is with myself, that I did not discover this excellent place sooner! We will definitely be back.

We couldn’t have had a warmer welcome or to be made feel so valued as a guest. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We had all of the amenities we needed and more besides. Breakfast was lovely and were offered top ups of hot drinks. Probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in a while!

Had a great overnight stay. Lovely room with view on golf course. Nice to have bath with separate shower. Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. I took advantage of the nearby included gym and pool (12 min drive or the hotel also has a free bookable shuttle). All in all I was very impressed.
