"The Hotel , as usual was well kept and very . The only thing I can comment on was The lack of a fridge,, to keep drinks and other things cool. However, sorted out when we went to the bar and asked for a bucket of ice, which was no problem for the staff who commented it was no problem and gave us an ice bucket. "Hotel used to be Best western. Stayed many times. Great location, pubs and restaurants all close by. 10 minute walk to Royal concert hall. Straight opposite the castle. Hotel newly refurbished under Sheriton name. Very nice except one minus point. They have moved the bar so now get drinks from over the counter at reception area, not as cosy as before. Still very nice hotel though and would recommend. Parking easy in NCP right next door."

Just a couple of things to consider, bar seemed to have run out of a couple of drinks options we ordered. We had traveled from South East London after finishing work. Managed to get to the property around 9:40. Just made it to last food orders for 9:45.May be helpful if the kitchen order time is extended to perhaps 10:00 pm. Otherwise a good stay, have stayed at the Doubletree Hotel twice before."
