"The hotel is very new, so everything works, and is clean. The rooms are tiny but well laid-out and organized. The floor is hard, no carpet. This is very good. No smell, no stains. The beds were comfortable. There was no noise, we slept really well. The breakfast is magnificent and plentiful. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, a particular shout-out to Maria F., who was really kind to us at check-in and check-out. Location is great."

"Although a great location and good value for money I was bitterly disappointed at the ibis London City hotel. The reception staff on the night shifts were extremely unprofessional, chaotic and quite rude. Hema particularly was exceptionally rude. The staff gave my colleague a key to my room which was totally unacceptable for any hotel to do and my colleague walked into my room late at night. Fortunately it was a colleague of mine and not a random person but extremely poor. The night security manager was also extremely unprofessional and made you feel uncomfortable coming into the hotel any time they were working in reception. Extremely poor level of service! "

First, the staff will not vary from their rules to accomodate. When we arrived they had rooms available but refused to release the room until 2:30 or so. The walls are very thin and sound travels.
