lucky dip with your rooms

Posted 06-Nov-2016
Pros: Great staff . Entertainment by good. Great locality
Cons: Plumbing all round seemed a problem our bathroom was freezing. No heating.
Location: Handy for beach . Great flat walks. Theatres shops pub
Need more plumbers .seemed to be a lot rooms with cold water only. Also light switches did'nt work. Others were delighted with there rooms. Staff were more than helpful. Our. Bathroom window let the howling wind in and rattled door. However felt safe there and I would stay again and hope for the best. Great location

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Dated decor

Nice hotel lovely views large rooms.

Posted 27-Sep-2016
Pros: everything.
Cons: our only down side was one of the lifts was out of order but that was just one of those things that can't be helped.
Location: we used the tram down to the beach and really enjoyed watching all the different boats on the water from pirate ships to working fishing boats.
ours was only a short stay but we really enjoyed our time the hotel was in a great place near to the beach and the shops.

Grand hotel don't think so . They had us booked for room only but had confirmation sea view stuck us in a corner room with a side view, room small , chair wobbly when I sat on it I fell back on floor , skirting boards thick of dust, never went for breakfast after first day wasn't impressed . £80 a night for that disgusting.

The hotel is very shabby. It had gone downhill from when we stayed last year and really needs some TLC.
