"We had a wonderful stay at Ash lodge. The lodge was very clean and we got to enjoy lots of beautiful sunsets and make use of the fantastic pool. It was like a home away from home, but even more comfortable and peaceful. We loved to see the chickens and cows and being treated to aunties home made cupcakes upon arrival was just what we needed. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."

This is a great place to stay in Torquay. We were met with a lovely warm welcome from the owners who made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated. I was frankly amazed at the quality of Briarfields immediately I walked through the front door. Everything looks freshly decorated, neutral colours, spotless carpeting... My room (No.8) on the top floor looked like it had been decorated yesterday, a small fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of water, comfortable bed, good quality clock/alarm. The bathroom was spotless.

We had a fabulous time. Great communication and welcome from owners. The apartment was beautiful, the decor, the outlook from sitting room window, with all the trees and birds. Kitchen was really well equipped and lovely touch of a cake, buscuits, milk, water and soft drinks. Beautiful products in bathroom and super comfy bed. We will definitely be back in the future.

I had such a lovely stay here. It may be a modest B&B, but it was absolutely excellent, and as a solo female traveller I felt completely safe, comfortable and genuinely looked after.
My single room was spotless and had everything I needed, including a lovely en-suite and a big window. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and even the little details were thought of — when I arrived, the owner brought me a bottle of cold water, which was such a lovely welcome.
