Wonderful. From start to end.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Breakfasts lovely [ my favourite is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon ] Suppers also delicious. Good menu selection with Sea Bass & Rump Steak being my choices ( on 2 different occasions - - I should add.! ). Dog friendly - which is important if you want to have your pooches with you which we did. Allocated a downstairs room which is delightful with excellent shower & loo facilities. Would we want to stay here again. You bet !! PRB

A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!

I booked a room for a Monday and Tuesday night as a treat for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. I wanted somewhere special and the Hotel delivered it for me. We were met on arrival and our car parked for us. The bags were taken to the room. The room was on the top floor overlooking the valley. The views of the English countryside were fabulous. This was a quick overnight stay on the drive back from Cornwall. The off-street parking and affordability were key in our purchase. Our room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Although the hotel was situated on a dual carriageway the rooms were quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. We were particularly pleased to have air conditioning in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful even under such strange circumstances. The food was good with generous portions.

An excellent facility; we really enjoyed our stay. But my wife would have liked some sort of place, with a mirror, where she could have applied her makeup.

Hotel was closing due to Govt guidelines. Staff were very professional and I felt so much effort had gone into ensuring staff and customer safety due to Covid-19 controls not was a shame to be closing. I still have to travel to Devon weekly due to working on an essential supply chain business and would have felt extremely safe at Hotel Du Vin. Hope to see you guys again very soon. Peter

We had a lovely meal when we arrived (not included) then friendly staff showed us to our room, king size bed en-suite, the bed was very comfortable & a powerful shower.
