This place is really all about price and location - 15 to 20 minute walk from the train station (but the footpaths are uneven and the neighbourhood you pass through is a little rough and downtrodden), and churches, museums and boulevards within a 5-10 minute walk. The famous Sorbillo pizza shop is just a block or two away (don't bother going unless you're there 10 minutes before opening time, otherwise expect a 1-2 hour wait).
Our room was clean and comfortable - the sort of accommodation that's no fuss and nothing fancy but absolutely fine for an overnight stop. The proportions throughout the house takes some getting used to - the communal areas are disproportionately big and could probably do with some extra furniture and shared amenities to make it more homely and usable, the bathroom was disproportionately big to the room, and the shower and counter-tops disproportionately small to the bathroom. Check in was a personal and friendly affair, with Valerio coming to the square to find us after we failed to locate the entrance and used WhatsApp to message for help (the rooms are in an apartment in a residential building and not easy to identify). The place is not usually manned so if checking out early, it is best to mention this when checking in. The area was quiet at night and the air conditioning helped to ensure a good night's sleep.
If you're looking for low cost, well located, clean and quiet accommodation for a night or two in Naples, this place will do the trick.
