"Excellent choice of breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we could need. The bathroom was very clean, if a little dated and the toiletries, which were provided, smelled lovely. We will define be coming back! "

"Just returned home from an incredible stay. The hotel is perfectly located for the beach/train station and the view from our room (no:18) was breathtaking. I would highly recommend this hotel, the cleanliness throughout and also the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast, both were fantastic. We took our 1yr old Cavapoo and he had the time of his life, he enjoyed looking out of the balcony from room 18. We will be visiting again soon. "

"Excellent location, area around apartments is immaculate. 9/10 would get a 10 but knocked a point off as bar is shut during day, so no where to get a coffee/drink on site till 5pm"

"We stayed for two nights at The Lifeboat and it was a very nice place to stay. The evening meal choices were very good as were the breakfasts and the food we ate was lovely. The room was spacious and we had a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great venue to visit many places from. So pleased we stayed there! "

"The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I was staying there for one night due to work. My room was exceptionally clean and my bed was that comfortable that I really did not want to get up in the morning. Shower was lovely. I only drink decaf and the hotel was really accommodating in putting decaf drinks on my room. I loved the original window, black out curtains did exactly what they was supposed to do. I was gutted I only had one night there but will 100% book there again when staying in the area. Restaurant was also lovely, and the small breakfast was just as filling as a large one. A great stay and great experience 💖"

"Room was nice although bathroom was quite cramped with little room to even put the bath mat down. Bed was comfortable but the duvet needs to be updated as it was incredibly lumpy with large parts where there was no filling at all. Lovely and quiet location with nice view of the garden. Breakfast was good quality, nice choice with plenty to eat. Would have been nice for the team to have explained what there was when we arrived and to be given a menu to select from. Staff on reception were very friendly and polite. "
