Stiffkey Red Lion

Stiffkey Red Lion

8/10 Good
"Lovely little place in beautiful Stiffkey. Bed was SO comfy, and lovely to have a balcony. Food delicious and amazing breakfast. Bath with a hair shower, so judt be aware, if difficulty getting in and out of the bath. Thank you for a lovely night's stay. Also, beautiful little stream opposite with a little walk we'd recommend."

The Harper

10/10 Excellent
"This was a great stopover on our road trip. We loved the room & the pool / sauna. The only issue we had was a lengthy wait for our dinner service - over 45 mins. Not sure if our order was missed by the staff or there was a long order list. Other than this, the stay was most enjoyable."

Owl Barn - a self catering cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

8/10 Good
"Well located in Morston but the barn itself needs some refurbishment eg shower (too small and weak), aircon (gets very hot upstairs and in the bedrooms at night), furniture (not very comfortable), toilets (where seats are small and wooden) etc. The owner and managing agent were very quick to respond to issues eg wasps nest, need for fans etc. But the barn lacks certain niceties that one would expect. Their welcome pack was also not very welcoming, by Norfolk standards. Note, there is no garden whatsoever and the shingle road outside the property suffers from passing delivery drivers from time to time, so it is not safe to allow young children to go outside the property on their own. Overall, a good stay but not as good as it looks in the photos."

Post Box Cottage - a self catering cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

8/10 Good
"The cottage is adjacent to stiffkey stores which was very convenient & close to the small stiffkey river which was ideal for a picnic. It is is set in a gravel cul-de-sac with other period properties. Located close to beautiful beaches including Holkam, Wells & Blakney. The wildlife is fabulous & each morning & evening we were entertained by a number of Swifts & Swallows. At nightime an Owl would hoot tunefully behind our cottage. The coast is rich in birds & wildlife. It is a very picturesque area & very unspoilt & natural. We would certainly return."

"Overall Greenrush is a great base for a holiday. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well equipped and lots of places to spend time as a family. Downsides are the steepness of the stairs, shower is okay and the parking is very tight. Park in the village hall instead. Beautiful location, good accommodation and lovely local pub."

Hollyhock Cottage -UK33553

"This was a last minute booking for us and what a gem of a find it was…beautiful, well equipped, warm and welcoming cottage in a very pretty part of the world.. managed to park outside on the road but there is a car park just across the way should it be needed. We bought firewood but didn’t need it as the heating was superb…very close to pubs and little shops on offer in Blakeney… the two magpies cafe is a must of a visit their breakfasts are amazing…The manager/owner of the cottage was extremely helpful when I made contact due to their being no WiFi… when we arrived… very quickly resolved after a storm had interrupted it before our arrival. On your arrival look out for the alley way to the cottage the old bakery on right and seal cottage (blue) on left… you feel like a trespasser but as instructed the cottage is thru a communal garden…Please do not book this cottage if you have mobility issues the stairs to the bedrooms are precarious as you would expect in a little stone cottage… overall a lovely well needed break in a cosy little cottage 🩷"
