"This was a little honeymoon break for us after our wedding on 4th October. I know the area really well having lived in North Wales.
The cottage was beautifully decorated and was comfortable and warm.
The location was excellent - and afforded us a central location to visit other places in North Wales but also gave us a really great location to explore Conwy."
"Lovely cottage in a great location in historic Conwy. Very well equipped, with the added bonus of street parking outside. This was a great help, as although it's very very tight to park your car here, the cottage has the added bonus of being able to use next door's space, too! Highly recommended. "
"Nothing to dislike...
Great room with a seaview in a great location, breakfast was really good too...
Staff were very friendly and helpful...
Will definately return to the Merrion in the near future..."

"Very helpful reception staff, providing lots of information. The room with sliding doors on to a courtyard with a water feature was beautiful. Great pool and spa area, clean and well maintained, not too busy when we visited. "
"The staff were excellent. The rooms were lovely and spacious. We had a dog friendly room which was really lovely. The food was delicious, the hotel is centrally positioned in Conwy. I would highly recommend a stay at this Hotel. We will return again the near future."
"Lovely staff good bar for evening relaxation good breakfast / nice comfy bed and wonderful sea view - parking possible on road outside - either close to entrance or a little further when busy"
"We had the private suit with bunk beds and it was just right for us. The room itself was small but it served its purpose for what we needed - a clean place to sleep and shower, because we were not in the room that much. What we really loved about YHA was the great customer service, the location, the cleanliness and sustainability of the hostel, the big communal area with lots of dining tables, sofas, great views, a bar and kitchen if you wanted to buy something or alternatively the kitchen equipped with everything you can think of if you prefer self catering. The communal area is great to hang out and possibly make friends also."
"I stayed at this property for one week in mid-October 2024 and was fully satisfied with my stay. I was first struck on entering by its cleanliness - the condition was immaculate. The house is well laid out and the kitchen has all you need to settle in and take care of all your culinary needs. The bedroom I used was spacious and the bed was very very comfortable. I slept soundly, which is never a guarantee for me. There was ample hot water and good water pressure. The wi-fi was great and I had no issues streaming on my tablet, though I also appreciated having a tv to catch some news and such. The location was wonderfully, just a few steps from a great pub and from an access point to the old city walls. I found the hosts to be very helpful when I reached out to get a drying rack for a load of laundry I had to do.
If I get back to Conwy, I would definitely stay here again."
