"Great view, great location. If you want contact free, this is the place for you because other than through text or whatsapp, you won’t see anyone. Old building is great but FYI, no lift. The blow dryer didn’t work and no replacement was provided.

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful,

A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible...
