"Don’t book this hotel, even for one night. We stayed here before an early morning flight from Manchester Airport and had low expectations, but it was worse than expected. The room was dirty and run-down, and the shower didn’t work at all. When we reported this, management were rude, argumentative, and unwilling to help. Because we needed to catch our flight, we had to leave without showering. It would have been less stressful to stay at home and leave earlier."

"Unfortunately this hotel was not what the photos highlighted. I appreciate it is an old building but it was very worn. The reception area was cold and the man on reception was only concerned about the wedding guest that were staying. Not helpful at all. Food was overpriced in the bar area. Cold dark and dingy is the only way to describe this place."
