"The Property is situated perfectly in the peaks with amazing panoramic views. You are surrounded by peaks, big skies & wildlife as well as the permanent residence on the Farm, horses, sheep (shout out to Jack the Ram, friendliest sheep I have met) & chickens. Inside the cottage is cosy, well equipped & clean. Beds are comfy, 2 bathrooms always a bonus & it's quiet. We are already planning our next trip."

"What can you say about parsons b&b only one word fantastic. David and his wife are the perfect hosts and nothing wasn’t any trouble. Every morning he would leave us a tray of tea and coffee with a jug of milk and no plastic small pots of milk in site. Rooms are beautiful decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant and all locally sourced and was superb, the parsons b&b is right in the heart of Hartington so you can park your car and have no need to drive it till you leave. This b&b is a beautiful hidden gem and we will 100% be staying there again. Thank you David for making our stay really special and we will see you soon. Oh and one more thing even the cat was welcoming and very friendly "

"Comfortable room in easy walking distance from Buxton town centre and Buxton country park. A few pubs within minutes. Simple to check-in, although we were expecting to check in at 12 and were sent away for an hour (not a problem for us!) Easy enough to find roadside parking. Tea & coffee facilities and shower gel/shampoo a welcome touch. Mysteriously awoken by a fire alarm on our final morning which was quickly shut off… but otherwise very quiet making for a peaceful stay. "

"Owners and staff were welcoming and the room was spacious, full facilities, warm. Approx 9 miles from Buxton, a rural but convenient for access. Adjacent to a main road, but no disturbances for sleep with the rooms to the rear of the pub. Enjoyed the well presented food. Lovely fish & chips. Slight issue over lasagne, quickly remedied/replaced. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Very good value, would recommend and probably return if in area again."
