It's ok but not impressed.

It was ok. But for the price and the location, I think they have to do better. It's old establishment. We knew that, so no surprise there. But I could see some mold in the bath, the bathroom floor not too clean. Elevators not working. The room was old too. Breakfast was only 12 pounds pp. So it's cheap for London hotel and it's good enough quality. The kebub shop in front of hotel was good :) It's close to tube station but the th station is Kilburn park which is slightly off the center. We thought it's ok but actually I wish we stayed in more central location. It was annoying to get there from where we were. Personnel were nice though.

Die Onlinebuchung klappte ohne Schwierigkeiten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es gibt kostenloses W-Lan. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Für uns war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Nice hotel not too far from the action.

Pros: Decent location with easy access to the tube. Free water in the lobby (surprisingly hard to come by in Western Europe).
Cons: In-house food options.
Location: Maida Vale is a nice quiet area with ample food and drink options. This is not part of the main tourist area but the Kilburn tube stop is very close.
Although this hotel isn't in the heart of the London tourist area--with exception to Abbey Road Studios a few blocks away--it is about a five minute (or less) walk to the nearby Bakerloo tube line. It should be noted, though, that there are great food options outside of the hotel (more on that later) such as The Elgin which my group enjoyed. The hotel has friendly staff, a concierge desk, and an on-site bar. The rooms, though a tad small, are clean and bright, energy efficient, and had ample outlets for my group's many electronic devices. The hotel features robust WiFi access (which is free if you sign up for a free Marriott Rewards membership) throughout the building. My only issues were the subpar food in the bar area and the fact that the Italian restaurant in the hotel seemed to be closed down though there was still signage for it around the lobby area.

Pros: Die Lage ist super. Gute U-Bahn und Busanbindung. Weiter war das Personal sehr freundlich und hat gleich versucht, unsere Probleme zu lösen.
Cons: Bitte schauen, das man die Fenster zumindest kippen kann! Bitte eine Klobürste ins Bad! Bitte im Bad einen Hinweis, dass der Fön im Zimmer ist.
Location: Das Hotel befindet sich in guter Verkehrsanbindung & man kann von dort aus alle Stadtteile erreichen. Vom Flughafen Stansted ist es allerdings weit.
Wir waren zu 4. in einem Zimmer (2 x Doppelbett) & der Preis des Zimmers war für Londoner Verhältnisse gut. Doch durch zusätzliche Dinge holt sich das Hotel das Geld wieder rein. Für 20 Pfund kann man Frühstück dazubuchen, was viel zu teuer ist (umgerechnet ca 25 Euro). So muss man also auf Frühstück außerhalb ausweichen, was in diesem Stadtteil schwierig ist, denn es gibt dort nur Cafes wie Starbucks etc die nur eingepacktes & Süßes verkaufen- ungesund & teuer.Weiter wird einem für Zimmer-Wlan ein unverschämt hoher Tagessatz berechnet. Nicht mehr zeitgemäß unser Meinung. Man kann nur im Eingangsbereich des Hotels im sogenannten "public" surfen. Weiter waren die 4 Sterne nicht angemessen. Die Einrichtung (vorallem im Bad) war sehr abgenutzt, Noch dazu gab es keine Klobürste. Die Dusche hat zuerst auch nicht funktioniert, man musste jmd holen. Das Fenster war komplett mit Schlüssel u. Winkel zugeschraubt! Schrecklich, vorallem wenn man zu 4. drin schläft & nie lüften kann! Die Klimaanlage reicht nicht aus.So haben wir am nächsten Tag jmd holen müssen um das Fenster zu öffnen.Weiter waren wir ja zu 4. doch gab es nur 2 Bettdecken. Wir mussten extra nach 2 weiteren fragen.Und: Auch nicht gerade Kundenfreundlich: Das Zimmer war auf 15.00 Uhr reserviert, doch als wir ankamen war es nicht fertig & wir durften erst am Abend rein!Schlecht nach einem Flug etc. Ein Plus gibts aber für die Freundlichkeit & Hilfsbereitschaft d. Personals.

Great location; good part of the Marriott chain

It was a short stay and good value for money. Definitely recommend for a city break. Location is central enough, if you don't mind being about a mile and a half out of central London.

London break

This hotel is handy for the tube for all tourist attractions. The reception staff were not very efficient or knowledgable about payment using Expedia. The bedroom walls were very thin and we had to complain about noise from the rooms on either side of our 2 rooms. The complaints were dealt with very efficiently.
