Conveniently located and comfortable

Posted 11-Apr-2018
The room was OK, staff always helpful, the hotel was easy to reach by public transport. I was disappointed with the very limited choice on the breakfast menu. Sound-proofing in the room wasn't great - it seemed well insulated from street noise but not from next-door room noise.

Ideally situated in Greenwich.

Fairly compact room but was ideal for a couple of nights. Comfortable bed and the shower room was adequate. Tea and coffee tray was supplied. Only problem was lack of noise barrier between adjoining room, which was locked. We could hear every word spoken by the person in the next room and the sounds of their activity was more than I wanted to hear. We had breakfast in adjoining Cafe Rouge on first morning but found cafe around the corner much better value, with a great menu.

Disappointing

Posted 25-Mar-2018
On arrival at the hotel to check in we were ignored and another couple were checked in ahead of us. Room was on the ground floor and overlooking the car park so we could hear noise from cars and people through the vent. The room was very clean and the bed was firm, shower powerful and lighting good. Would have rather hotel better if we had been welcomed to the hotel. If the hotel isn’t going to have a check in desk and just some seats then staff need to be aware of who arrives and check them in in order of arrival-or at least acknowledge that people are waiting . Earlier in the day we were able to leave our bags as it was too early to check in and the chap who greeted us was excellent-it’s a shame that the ladies working later that evening weren’t as helpful.Perhaps the day chap could support or supervise them?

Disappointed

Posted 07-Mar-2018
We arrived late during the onset of the Beast from the East’. The staff on this occasion were great organising pizza for us at 2:30am. The room was cold and next day we told staff and they provided a column heater which warmed the room but the room heater was not fixed. On second day returning to our room it had not been serviced and had to ask for this to be done. Overall staff were friendly and helpful..

Cons: Breakfast would be better if more than l cup of tea/coffee was included
Location: Great location for all the places of interest
Nice place to stay that was near to local tourist attractions as well as within striking distance of famous London art galleries/museums etc.,@

Neat room, decent location

Posted 16-Feb-2018
Room was a decent size, clean, and quiet. Nice shower although a little tricky to get consistent temperature, shower gel provided only. Tea and coffee making making facilities in room. The check-in was quick and effective and staff were friendly, but there is no formal reception so I had to complete check-in at various the side of the bar where people were drinking which I found a little odd. The location is pretty good, just a few minutes walk from the centre/ main Greenwich market.

Hotel in the centre of Greenwich

Posted 02-Feb-2018
The hotel is really central in Greenwich. You have to pay for parking (£15 per night). Reception is informal and straightforward. Room was on the smallish size but well appointed and with loads of power points. Bathroom was again smallish. It very good. Shower was excellent. The only problem I had was that one of our key cards did not open the room. Overall very good
