Property is under renovation and they dont tell you that when booking. Hotel noisy from 9 am to 4 pm with construction. Staff was great but stay was horrible

Still renovation us continuing. Renovated rooms are excellent. Room cleaner is a little greedy I think. She even doesn’t leave toilet paper but each time reception helped. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant on the ground level is very good and cheap.

No phones in room. No furniture to store your clothing. Renovation in process (aware in advance). The service at bar was exceptional but the bar food was not great. Included breakfast is tasty & highly recommend; great coffee and specialty coffees, full spread buffet with eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, cereals, fresh fruit, breads, etc.

Stayed for 1 night on Saturday 30th March. From reading reviews it was advised to pick one of their newest rooms. Currently the hotel is in the middle of a huge overhaul. The new room had no phone, no iron, the shower was dreadful and the TV flicked on and off. Popped down to reception, was told its a refurb and they are sorry. Explained this is a new room and not acceptable. Another member of staff then spoke to me and was great. They covered by parking fee (£20) and gave us breakfast in the morning all paid, also they'd fix the shower and TV. On returning from our evening out we could see the shower had been fixed and the pressure was now a good force, enough to remove the bubbles off my head! The next morning we were greeted at breakfast, however, we'd only been given 1 free breakfast. Explained it was comp from the customer services and had been agreed. After 10mins or so they said on this occasion they'd do it and allowed us both to have the breakfast. Overall, poor service from the hotel, we'd driven along way, you expect a new room to provide us with the basics on arrival. Although it was sorted out, it did make what should have been a relaxed enjoyable visit to london for a wedding a painful experience.

NO FRIDGE. NO MICROWAVE. LOUD CONSTRUCTION ON GOING AT THE HOTEL from 8:30 in the morning until 5PM (17:00). Checked in today and what a terrible experience. Imagine staying for a holiday and you want to heat food you got from outside… NOT POSSIBLE. As there is no microwave in your room or anywhere in the common areas. You cannot buy yogurts, chill wine/drinks because there is no fridge in the rooms. Most importantly, the hotel DID NOT DISCLOSE that there is a very loud construction going prior. And I do not know why none of the other guests here talked about it here so I am telling you to consider other hotel options. *DO NOT BOOK**

The staying is average. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The main part that we concern is the noise in the morning. Seems there is some work undergoing on Friday morning around eight-ish, and waking us up.

The staff, location and mattress quality are the high points of this property. Two blocks from the West Bromton tube station. Less than a mile or one tube stop to Stamford Bridge stadium. The hotel is under renovation, to be completed by summer.

The location was convenient, it was near public transportation and there were options for pubs and restaurants. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. There was some construction going on so a little noisy during the day but it was quiet during the night.

Stayed here two nights. Lovely comfortable and clean room - very comfy bed. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice of food. Peaceful nights sleep even with the window open. Refurbishment going on during our stay but it didn’t disturb us at all as it’s just during the day (and not early too). Room to store cases in after checkout which was helpful. Would definitely stay here again

It was a very pleasant stay at Ibis Hotel. I found staff very friendly and supportive, always helpful and smily. I truly felt like in my own home. Unfortunately the climate control in the refurbished room wasn’t working and despite many attempts to reset this it never got above 17 degrees. So I awoke with a sore throat and a streaming cold! Reception Staff were great as usual the next day, but with no phone in the Room I could get no engineer assistance during the fairly frigid night.

Nice and close to downtown London
Nice for a two day stay. Breakfast is worth the fee, lots of variety to choose from. Elevators can be a bit confusing at times.

Despite staying here on previous occasions and spending a lot of money in it's restaurant and bar my genuine request to move my pre paid booking to another date was rejected so the hotel banked £135 of my money for nothing. I got conflicting accounts of who was to blame for the rejected request with Ibis and Expedia blaming each other. The way the matter was conducted was very poor when despite me calling into the Ibis in person ahead of my pre paid booking to request their help and being assured by "Angela" this would be no problem if only Expedia would make a call to her. Expedia told me they did this and again they cam back to say it had been rejected. My last "non stay I paid £135 for at these premises" and the last post I will make as an Expedia "Gold" member. It would have been so super easy to do the outcome is just tragic for both brands that they cannot agree a customer is valuable enough not to rip them off

Good location and price
Great location and nicely updated and clean room. Staff was helpful, friendly, and responsive. We especially enjoyed meeting Lukas in the George and Dragon bar located inside the hotel. It was a great stay, and I would stay there again.

New Rooms are a major downgrade
The hotel is being renovated. The staff tried to put me in an old style room, despite the pictures and advert on here showing the new rooms, and tried to tell me this was an “upgrade “. New rooms are modern with wet concrete wall look and metal framework for hanging clothes. In terms of comfort they are a downgrade. No wardrobe. No storage. No armchair. Standard of tiling in new room I was in was awful. Despite what sign in room says, aircon is controlled centrally and staff advised me to “open a window”. Come on even Travelodge lets you control the temp of your own room!! Bed hard. Not a patch on premier inn. FinallY a hotel bar that closes at 11! Really? Even Travelodge serves drinks to residents after 11. Come on Ibis you can do better than this.
