Hazel went above and beyond. From me arriving late then being welcomed like a family member to needing help late at night, Hazel delivered. A totally unique experience in guest housing environment. Room was so cozy and had everything needed. Top quality! Some may say quirky, I say a proper home from home. I definitely recommend Hazel’s guest house and will hopefully come and stay again soon (hope she will be able to fit me in as she is so much in demand) So much to see and do in the area. So close to the Olympic Stadium which was where we were visiting. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much ♥️

Shambolic chaos
I was shown to my room and thought id stepped out of a time machine. I found the clutter, disorganised decor quite horrific. I was tired so i slept on a comfortable bed with mismatched bedding. The bathroom and hallway were overflowing with drying laundry I feel that this property should not be taking guests until the accomodation is sorted out. Ok if you like quirky paraphernalia.

A Very Warm Welcome Awaits You
Highly, highly recommend Grove Guest House! Hazel is a truely wonderful host. You will be welcomed like an old friend, nothing is too much for her! Her house is fabulous and is just a 10 minute walk from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

Hazel is a very charming host who delivers a very welcoming experience for her guests, I arrived at 2100 and hadn't eaten and hazel cooked me a lovely omellete which was so kind of her, my room was very adequate plenty of toiletries on offer, bed was clean and comfy, breakfast was cooked just right, overall a very enjoyable stay.

Easy going relaxed stay for business. Hazel was lovely and cooks a mean omelette! Room was comfortable and clean with good en-suite. The house itself is jumbled as Hazel is always on the go but adds to the charm of this loved family home.

great location with excellent transport options. Hazel made us feel very welcome and the house has real character - not your typical bland chain hotel experience. short bus or walk to Stratford Centre, Olympic Park etc. We would definitley stay again.

The real London experience
Hazel who runs this B&B is a lovely character who makes you feel at home immediately. She has an artistic nature and her property reflects that with sculptures crafted by her and local children in the front garden, and nick-nacks all around the house with for example a large china Dalmatian in the entrance hall with a sparking pink top hat. It is without a doubt characterful! If you want minimalism this is not the place for you. If you want to feel at home as if staying with a friend this is the place for you.

Friendly, comfortable and handy guest house
This is a lovely guest house and an ideal place for a short break or to stay when working in London. The owner is really friendly and could not have been more helpful to me. The house itself is quite something, included many decorative features from the 1950s and 60s which you rarely see nowadays. The room I stayed in was clean, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was lovely as well and it was so refreshing to have a fried breakfast which wasn't swimming in oil!
