There were 11 of us including 2 infants. The facilities were more than adequate for our group. The location is close to public transportation. See Putney Junction Station. Southfield Station and Clapham Station, as well as public buses. Plenty of good traditional, local pubs who welcome kids close by. Full service grocery store 4 blocks away. Convenience store 3 blocks away. Quiet neighborhood but right off the main drag. Highly recommend!!!!!

Multi-generation family trip for graduation
We had 9 members of our family, including 4 grandparents, for our daughter's uni graduation. The house was perfect - everything you needed in the house, lots of different areas for people to relax. Unexpectedly for Sept there was a heat wave, and the outdoor space was perfect. Great pubs, restaurants and grocery stores nearby, close to transit. Mike was great when we had a couple of small challenges. Things to consider - lots of stairs, getting taxis requires some pre-planning. House could have been a bit cleaner, but not an issue. Would highly recommend.

Great for large family
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Easy to get to London from this area of Wandsworth. With 6 adults and 3 children we had plenty of room in this 5 bedroom and 4 bath house. Would highly recommend if you have a large family and would like to stay together.

Fine Remodeled Property in Wandsworth Town
Mike's property was the nicest place we stayed in Europe, Pros-All modern conveniences, neat, clean, flexible and congenial host Cons-none (45 minutes and several trains/buses to Central London?) Mike's property is a multi-level split row home with bedrooms and bathrooms on levels 2 and 3 as well as the basement and a living area with a beautiful garden. Mike was very accommodating with all of the pre arrival arrangements as well as our checkout. Upon arrival, we found the place neat and clean. The neighborhood was nice and quiet with many dining options nearby (we loved Brewer's Inn up the road for dinner and Konnigans near the train station for brunch) as well as convenience stores and a full service Sainsbury's. I would recommend Mikes place to anyone who doesn't need to be right in Central London and is comfortable with bus, train and/or Uber!

Perfect vacation home for large family -- Luxurious and comfortable
We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in London for our family of two parents, four adult offspring and a daughter-in-law. This was our first overseas trip to London as a family and we really wanted it to be special. It was. Mike (the owner) was very welcoming and helpful and we felt immediately at home. I highly recommend this home if you have a family or group. All of the bedrooms (and beds) are luxurious, so all of us felt equally pampered. Three bedrooms have ensuites and two share a bath, so there were no line-ups. The bathrooms are hotel quality. The house has multiple levels, so the bedrooms were quiet even when some people were watching tv or talking. We made good use of the kitchen, which is modern and sunny with a solarium opening onto a patio garden. It is very well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and a fancy coffee maker, and therefore it was a pleasure to prepare meals. The living area is lovely, welcoming and comfortable. We found the transportation excellent, as the house is walking distance to the train that takes you overground to Waterloo station (our favourite mode of travel). Alternatively, it is only a two minute walk to the bus. Both connect to the tube and we thoroughly explored London with our Oyster cards. But the neighbourhood has a lot to offer, too, and I highly recommend a stroll through Wandsworth Common (park). There are two large supermarkets a short walk away, as well as restaurants, and we never needed a car or taxi. If we are lucky enough to return to London, we would definitely stay here again. Mike always answered our questions promptly, and his friend who lives a few doors down very kindly helped us when we locked ourselves out once. The home is in a quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours and although we were only there for 8 days, by the end of our stay we felt part of the neighbourhood. Thank you, Mike, for your hospitality.
