The grounds were gorgeous and the staff were very accommodating to food allergies and other requests. Our apartment was lovely. We both wished we had booked a longer stay here because it was such a peaceful part of our trip to Tuscany. The wine tour and hiking came with some stunning views. The bottega is convenient for grabbing food and wine, as well.

Excellent communication, and very quick reply to our messages.
Linda was wonderful and very helpful. (She speaks perfect English as well)
We arrived very late but she was waiting for us, explained how to reach the area.
We got a welcome gift as well.
The room was very clean, organised, with small little cute details. 😁
Swimming pool and sun beds available as well.
Highly recommend. We spent a very nice time there.

Palazzo Castri 1874 is an excellent boutique hotel located a short walk from the main Santa Maria Novella (SMN) railway station. It is within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and good places to eat. They have created a special place for guests to stay. All the staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, well equipped and many have views of the Duomo. The beautiful garden with its outside seating areas and small pool is an oasis of quiet and calm and is very...

This was a great base for a few days in Florence. It's a 10-15 minutes walk to the old centre along the river, it was nice to be a little away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything, and the walk there and back was always a pleasure.
We walked everywhere but the bus stop from and to the station is in front so super convenient when needed.
There is a supermarket less than 10 mins away on the other side of the river. The kitchen is basic but had what we needed for breakfast...

Location is superb...a short stroll to most of the major attractions. Despite being in the heart of the city, superb soundproofing + air-con means an excellent, silent night's sleep. The staff are the best I ever encountered, the rooms spotless, the breakfast generous, and free teas and a happy hour to meet fellow travellers over free Prosseco tops it all off.

Fab place. Beautifil view opposite the Savoy which chargws 1500 per night for the same type of room. Some in the Savoy do not even have bath and shower comno lile here!
Very romantic with the bed in front of terrace over looking Piazza della Republica with live music from the restaurant downstairs.
Very clean, free pastries in morning and coffee, coffee machine and kettle in room.
Only issues were that check-in is not in the same location - that needs to be made clear before booking....
