"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

We had 2 rooms at this property , we needed storage for 3 bikes overnight and this was not a problem. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, there was even a guest sitting room. Breakfast was very nice would stay again and recommend it

This is a small niche b/b hotel. Everything about it is excellent, the difference is the breakfast which is provided in your room via a small but fully functional kitchenette. This hotel was a lovely surprise, highly recommended.

Very comfortable, all facilities good. Close to city centre. Room small (attic room) but that's what I paid for. Staff courteous and chatty and gave good advice. Not keen on the small TV in room but views more than made up for it. Tea, Coffee, biscuits, fresh milk, mini bar with local produce (mostly ciders), all very good. Breakfast was excellent with a highly varied and quality choice. En-suite clean, everything worked, plenty of goodies

We’re walking the Herefordshire Trail and stayed here for one night. I was a good choice. A friendly welcome.
We had an excellent room which was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Food in the evening was excellent, with a good menu choice. A good selection of cask beers.
Breakfast was excellent a good menu to choose from. All the staff were great. We highly recommend.

We had a lovely overnight night stay at the Wallace. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and tidy with tea, coffee and Welsh cakes.
The pub was inviting with roaring log burner which gave extra coziness. The evening meal was delicious😋 The best local sourced fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Full English breakfast was also very good. I would definitely stay again
