"We arrived to a warm welcome and homemade cakes which got our weekend off to a great start. Garden Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and breakfast on the patio looking towards Ross on Wye was a wonderful way to start our days. The walk to Ross on Wye takes between 20-30 minutes depending on your pace and has a few half way attractions, the historical Wilton Bridge and Wilton Castle, so the stroll seems to take no time at all. "What a lovely friendly hotel. We were welcomed the minute we arrived-we asked to see the room on arrival as we had been dissappointed on the last hotel we had seen. The young gentleman on reception was great and couldn’t have been more helpful. We checked in then left for our planned day. On our return later in the evening we were greeted by a lovely lady who couldn’t have been more helpful. The following morning we had breakfast which was great and so was the service - a lovely lady. If you’re planning a stay here - do it! You won’t be disappointed with this clean lovely place to stay in Wales with great friendly staff. We are planning another stay there later in the year when next come to wales. Thank you everyone"
