"Disappointed with some of the trip as I was told this was a high level hotel with real distinction. £25 to park my car in car park for the overnight stay???? On arrival my room was not ready at 1:30pm & was promised I would be called when it was ready. Eventually after 3 o’clock I went back to ask about my room and was told I could’ve been given a room when I first came that was ready but just mine wasn’t ready yet. The staff member didn’t understand why I hadn’t been offered this option. I had ordered an oat milk. I had ordered an oat milk cappuccino and told them it had to be Sawyer or oat and was then served a cows milk cappuccino. Only when I tried it did I question it with the staff who confirmed it was not out milk. Only after this had happened did she ask me if I had an allergy. My room was old-fashioned but suitable and the bed and pillow is comfortable. Wi-Fi was okay and adequate speed. When I wanted an evening meal and rang to 2 of the restaurants, I would have to wait over an hour to be able to get a meal and at 9 pm for one of them was way too late. I was told to go to Merlin spa where I could eat and need no reservation but it really only had a burger, chicken wings and some sandwiches to eat. The chicken wings were okay but nothing special at £15 with chips included. The best part of the entire trip was the excellent breakfast which was phenomenal and extremely high-quality."

"We liked a lot the fact that the room could be warmed up rapidly, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and that breakfast was nice. Our bathroom was in a rather poor state though, with mold on the wall and floor tiles next to the bathtub, around the shower screen (which had no silicone to keep the water in), but also inside the shower head and tube. The room smelled of damp and the overall impression was of a worn-out property."

"Seems new owners have taken over since we last stayed. Some good changes, some bad. Room we stayed in seemed to have a make over which was good, breakfast disappointed with free toast and cereal but cooked breakfast now charged. The red haired girl that ran the restaurant seems to have gone and she was a real plus at this b and b. But all the best with the venture to the new owners."

"The front end staff were so helpful and friendly, waiting and bar staff were great . The room was spotless and was lovely . There was a great selection for breakfast and accommodated for celiac ."

"The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The jacuzzi and pool were really nice. Yes there is a lot of furniture in the rooms and it is a little dated, but we managed to find space to accommodate both if our ebikes in the room with a little bit of shifting around. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again, this was our second visit."

"We upgraded as we were looking forward to a arelaving treat for me and my partner. The upgrade was supposedly their best room which was full of cobwebs in the lounge area the bedroom and the bathroom and their dust everywhere and even worse inside the wardrobe it was thick with dust unableto put clothes in their . The furniture was falling apart and pieces missing off bits of furniture also. After I booked i was told breakfast last call was 10.30 am . We turned up at 9.45 to be told breakfast had stopped at 9.30 so we had to leave early and go buy breakfast at a local cafe. Extremely disappointed with this stay honestly I wouldn't recommend it to anyone the facilities are ok but the rooms are terrible. Im going to get a refund as im upset with the service , cleanliness of the room and booking bed and breakfast to not be able to have breakfast as it was stopped at 9.30. Really disappointed better service hotels for the same money do not recommend."

"I stayed at Radisson Hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were polite and genuinely tried to help whenever needed. The breakfast was also good, with a decent variety and quality. However, the property itself feels quite old and poorly maintained. The bathroom was especially disappointing—there was no hand shower, the exhaust was not working, and the towels had an unpleasant smell. Overall cleanliness and room maintenance were below expectations. While the room had good space, the amenities felt outdated, and the suite itself looked very basic. Considering the price, it did not feel worth the money."

"Affordable spa hotel, dated, poor food and standard level of amenities. For what you pay, you get a decent bed, breakfast, pool. It’s not the best but it does the job."
