Plenty of things to do within a few miles drive and lots of walking. Jo, the host, is welcoming and very helpful. We were 3 friends catching up and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay although the weather was very windy and we had rain and snow showers so couldn’t make the most of the outdoor space. "Lovely cottage. The wood burning stove was much appreciated by all including our black Labrador! The central heating was very efficient once we’d found the boiler controls (in one of the twin rooms) Host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed but wasn’t at all intrusive. Beds very comfortable ! Can recommend the Scotsman’s Pack inn who (with some advance notice) catered for 42 of us for the Birthday meal !"

"The apartment was nice. Kitchen fully stocked. City centre location so was very noisy at night until 4am one night. The room also isn’t pitch black even with the curtains drawn. Could do with blinds. Floor was quite greasy and sticky so had to wear shoes the whole time. Checkout process was easy and quick. Parking was a nightmare. There’s a car park opposite the apartments but you have to pay and it’s very limited because it’s free after 8:30pm. Always fully packed. Had to park around the corner...
