"Not happy , room smell "

"Quite disappointing stay. The facilities are very dated and the lift very creaky. One of the lifts (the left one) felt like your foot was going to go through the floor. Bed was like lying in cement and the pillows paper thin. Tv was small and dark. Room ventilation did nothing.. was very cold. The receptionist, Steve, was on his phone on Grindr most of the time we interacted. When he wasn’t on his phone he had all these receipts on the table and said the books hadn’t balanced that night so he was annoyed. Seemed like it would’ve been a better job to complete out of customer view. Breakfast was a mini croissant and some sliced cheese that looked like it had been out a while. The “yoghurt” looked like feta cheese and was not appetising at all. Very disappointing stay to be fair. No welcoming spirit from any of the night staff. The gents in the morning shift were a lot more friendlier. I knew it was a budget hotel , but the place looked like it needed a clean. "

"We didn't need parking as we walked to and from the airport, and we didn't have breakfast. The dining room was good as we didn't want to stay in the room any longer than we need to as it is tiny. It served it's purpose as we needed somewhere to stay for the night. The first room they assigned us was not possible for me to stay in as there was a terrible bathroom odor lingering."
