"Friendly run pub offered great service when we arrived late friday evening. Explained we wouldnt need breakfast the saturday morning as we were leaving early to particiapte in the south downs challenge. Suggested a breakfast tray they would leave outside our room. "The hotel and grounds itself are very beautiful with modern decor. The breakfast was a good selection and the bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Check-in was quick and easy and we received a quick tour of the hotel. The local knowledge could have been better, when we asked for a local restaurant recommendation we didnt expect to be referred to a chain restaurant, we did go for a walk and settle on a local Thai restaurant.
