We had a great stay and the staff were excellent throughout. While the hotel could benefit from a bit of TLC, this is to be expected with a building of this age. The bar area is a real highlight, with great food and drink options and the added bonus of a pool table. The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere and is in a fantastic location. The rooms are comfortable and with a little extra attention they could be brought up to an excellent standard. That said, the value for money is outstanding and you’d be hard-pressed to find better in this area.
