"Very clean on our arrival, the reception greeting 🙂 really made feel relaxed at the start of our trip, the bar staff very good, the parking at our lodge was excellent, the whole of our trip was excellent."

"Lovely accommodation. The decor in the room was really nice, and there is a lovely view over Lake Windermere. Staff were really warm, polite and helpful. Breakfast (although expensive) and dinner were great. Dining room decor was nice. The only negatives were: black mould marks in the bathroom grouting and yellow stains at the front, bottom of the toilet basin; the room was cold and had to ask a couple of times for the heating to be put on; the hot tub was difficult to get in and especially out of, with nothing adequate to hold onto."

"Best Holiday Inn we've stayed in! We had a disabled access room and it was huge! Very clean. Absolutely most effective AC we've had in a UK hotel! Staff friendly. Hotel welcoming with free refreshments at reception. Breakfast good."

"Kay the receptionist on arrival was very friendly and helpful. The bar staff were friendly too. Lovely 3rd floor seaview room. Good tasty breakfast. Would definitely stay here again"

"Very nice hotel. Lovely big room, comfy bed, nice touch with Nespresso machine in the room. Dinner at the restaurant was also very nice (though expensive). Only annoying thing about our room was being next to the lift as you could hear it every time it went up or down, but everything else great. Very handy hotel for travelling on the M6 and the pub over the road was a gem"
