We agreed that if we're fortunate enough to return to Kyoto, we will definitely stay there again. The hotel was excellent value for money. It had spacious (by local standards) rooms that were spotless and stylish, comfortable beds, and a great shower. We loved the location on a quiet and atmospheric street. Buses and the subway were nearby and it was an easy walk to the train station and to the historic part of the city. The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were polite, friendly, and very helpful. On our last day we were able to leave our luggage with them all day as we continued exploring the city. They made a wonderful restaurant recommendation that was a local favourite (delicious) and they helped us call a taxi on our last day.
