Wonderful stay in Kyoto with convenient location near bus, subway, Nishiki Market and Pontocho Alley. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Heads up kids over age 6 are considered adults for the room. Be sure to explore the alley ways off the market streets for fun bars and delicious food options. The free sake tasting was a fun treat as well. Would definitely go back.

Love this hotel! The location is great (walk out and you're right in a shopping mall) close to public transportation, the staff were so helpful and courteous and the rooms are spotless. Added bonus is there is a washer/dryer unit in the room which is convenient when traveling. We highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again on our future travels.

The staff ate incredible. They really go the extra mile and for that id come back. Unfortunately the wallpaper in my rooom was marked up and fixtures in the bathroom were loose. Rooms are spacious and the bed was good. Rooms are quiet too. Hotel is conveniently located to restaurants but taxis do not come up the building and there's no breakfast.

The rooms are really comfortable, the location's great -- you have the market and the subway steps away and can easily walk to Gion. The staff are wonderful, they go above and beyond and the hotel offers amenities from toothbrushes and combs to free coffee, soft drinks, and complementary sake and wine. Would stay there again.
