She gave us great suggestions on things to do in Kyoto as well as bus & train routes to get there. Location is fantastic, right in the middle of the city & we walked from the Kyoto Station which was an easy 20/25minutes past an beautiful temple. Convenient to Gion & all the riverside bars & restaurants. The room is traditional Japanese style with comfortable futons on tatami mats. It is a pity that we did not see her, but she left notes on my room's door and another on my luggage stored there which was very warm. The house is cozy and you can have a nice experience if you want understand local house. Judy arranged a Chinese girl on that day, whom also provided us lots of information proactively. They also prepared very nice treats in the room. Although it is shared toilet and shower, but they have two for 4 rooms, so it was not crowed.
