The staff is very friendly and speak English. The hotel room came with a free wifi smartphone, which you can use to navigate around Kyoto and look up restaurants and locations. It was convenient to wash clothes in our room and dry them in the shower room. The front desk staff was fluent in both Chinese and English and offered helpful tips.
